The Latin word sacramentum means "a sign of the sacred." The seven sacraments are ceremonies that point to what is sacred, significant and important for Christians. They are special occasions for experiencing God's saving presence. For more information on the Sacraments at Little Flower please follow the links below.
BAPTISM
Infant Baptisms:
We request that families contact the parish office at least three months in advance of the Baptism of their child. We also require that the parents and godparents be living their faith, coming to Mass regularly, etc. Further we ask that the parents participate in a Baptismal class which teaches about their responsibilities for raising their child in the Catholic faith. Please contact the parish office in order to register for this class and to make preparations.
Children Baptisms:
We request that both the parents and the children to be Baptized participate together in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIA) process for un-baptized children. Please contact Jim Morris (Director of Religious Education) for further information.
